A single, generous marble island designed to work as both a sculptural focal point and a genuine everyday surface for a large family kitchen.
The waterfall ends were book-matched from the same block and the underside was scribed to the flooring so the piece reads as a solid mass rather than a fitted worktop.

A generous, open-plan kitchen where the island had to work as both a sculptural focal point and a genuine everyday surface for cooking, entertaining and family life. The clients wanted the veining to run uninterrupted from top to floor.

The result
An island that anchors the entire kitchen without dominating it. The bookmatched waterfall ends read as a single continuous piece of stone, and the surface handles everything from morning coffee to full dinner service.
